Finish the Race.

"Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."
Hebrews 12:1-2 NKJV

This verse encourages us to persevere and remain steadfast in our pursuit with God.

Like a race, we run and aim to finish. But the baggage and sin we carry only slow us down and sometimes don’t allow us to finish the race at all.

Sin is compared to as a trap, something to keep you in bondage from fulfilling the life God wants you to live. Get rid of it!
Look and seek Jesus Christ directly in prayer and immersing yourself into the Word of God.

With Christ you will able to finish the race with endurance!

It’s a matter of endurance, not a sprint to get to the destination.

God is patient, God is merciful and only God is able to make the change you want to see in your life.

If you truly desire to be saved,

if you truly desire to be changed

and you surrender your all to him,

Removing your trust in yourself and place it into the hands of God, surely he will provide!

Christ has already finished the race, the race that started since the dawn of man and by his sacrifice and sins he bore on the cross, he has ended the former way of life and provided a way out from sin, a new life in Jesus.

That is where we receive salvation by putting our faith and trust in Christ alone!

As a result, 

we have a new life, a new heart, a new mind with new motives and desires that wish to serve and honor God.

Rid yourself of anything that is causing you to stumble throughout the race and ask God for his Holy Spirit to change you completely!

"Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it."
I Thessalonians 5:23-24

God loves you and provided a way for you to be reconciled to him, seek Jesus Christ today.
